Information/Event

#event

An event consists of the information (form) and the distribution (energy/movement) of this information. It can often be seen as an action, a change, and of course, each event will produce a change in the system, even if only felt locally…

This event mapping forms the topology of your persona. Tracking the data (i.e. information) flow can produce a very complete profile one’s persona, sufficient to enable predictability and thus manipulation — as we have seen happen in this age of information.

Predictive Behaviour

Would it not be possible to make certain predictions of behaviour if one tracked people’s narratives that way? Would one not begin to have certain mappings, certain responses that one would be able to identify? Research shows that it would collapse at each juncture to a relatively small number of possibilities.

This is a whole new area of activity to investigate. A predictive algorithm based on behaviour patterns from the past. But over time, would it not be possible to see the same patterns emerging. I am not sure of the variance here, but I don’t think it will be large.

That previous paragraph was written in the late 90’s. Time has shown that to be correct, with Cambridge Analytics, Google, Facebook, etc and their gathering of data on people, and then using AI for predicting behaviour. Also, by controlling the narrative, one can also shape people behaviour, by stimulating certain proclivities and suppressing others.

Earth - waystation

Heaven has been described as a school or academy of learning where you study the theoretical aspect and earth is where you do your practical fieldwork. But, even more than an place of experiential learning, perhaps earth is essentially a place of transition, a way-station, yet not an “earthly” one, as in a railway or airline station, but a spiritual one, a place that is part of a greater journey. It is thus like someone alighting onto a train after dying, then getting off at another station (birth), and exploring the new place that the train stopped at, both being just place of exploration on a longer journey… .

As a station of change, we arrive with our soul wounds. They manifest here, the place where spirit has incarnated. The way in which we deal with the specifics of what these “imperfections” produce, will determine which station we embark at… If there has been no movement, then it will be the same station.

Space

We have number of characteristics of our space:

1. That something exists within it.
2. That there is more than a single element in this set.
3. That it can undergo a change of state.
4. That they relate to one another.
5. And that they will seek balance (ground state), locally and globally.

Dust to dust

A question that arises here is whether the emergence ex-nihilo occurred at one single point (ala Big Bang Theory) or whether it occurred at multiple, perhaps infinite places and whether it occurred in the same moment or whether it “unfolded” over time (ala Inflation Theory).

Then there is the question of the “disappearance” or “appearance” of these invisible “particles”. Where do they disappear to?

Electron

The chances of this happening are infinitesimal. Only through Divine Guidance does it happen. Having absorbed the energy of the photon, there is less light in the immediate vicinity. So it produces darkness. Now $e^-$ is in love, charged in the state of union with its beloved. But the breath of creation, also known as Father Time, breathes again — for it cannot remain in stasis. It has become too full and so it needs to empty itself, as there is no waste in the universe, and there is no place for narcissism in the functioning world. That is why it is good. It has become too full and by the law of balance, returns the light to the Almighty and thus becomes an expression of the of the צימצום, Tzimtzum. The Bridge to life!

Union

Sexual… as an expression of the true desire for union with your beloved. A union intimate enough through which you (get to) know your beloved. Which is generally surprising, as the love blinds us, and then, after the initial stage of lust, we begin to relate to the being contained in the form that we encountered.

(un)Manifest

All that is manifest can be measured (quantified), and it can only be measured by what is already manifest. “Unmanifest” is everything else. Anything “unmanifest” that is measurable, can also only be measured by the manifest.

The tool that is used to tame the seemingly manifest is statistics, a rough estimate at best.

“Unmanifest” expressions that are qualified as spirit can only be judged by spirit. In fact, the manifest can also only be judged by spirit. If it is judged by man it becomes another form of man-ifest measurement.

Union with G-d

Union with G-d does not mean dissolution in the infinite Light of the Creation, but rather to receive this Grace, accept our blessing and our burden, that of having the Divine Power of Choice, and choosing God. Think of it in terms of choosing who or what you relate to. There are millions of in the world that you could have a relationship with. But you choose one as your life partner, to grow and expand together. Now, you can choose to have and further your relationship with G-d, or you can choose to have this significant relationship (or not) with anything else that you choose. As long as you serve that relationship with your heart and your soul, there is nothing wrong with your relationship. The only thing that is necessary to discern is what is the ultimate goal of the idea(l) that you are serving?

Do not expend your energy in the battle against evil–though one must fight evil wherever one encounters it—for evil does not exist in the Realm of the Divine, but in resonating with opposing forces that actually compliment one another.

Absolutist

In the absolutist’s world, you have one life to live, and if you sin in this life, your soul suffers in hell for eternity. It seems like the punishment, in many cases, does not match the crime. And if you are righteous and holy, you go to heaven. But what if you’re average? You are not evil, yet you are not really righteous, where do you go?

In the more modern view, embracing reincarnation, whereby one’s (spiritual) path is to serve G-d, to draw closer to Him. After experiencing enough lifetimes, and achieving sufficient closeness, one is no longer trapped in wheel of Samsara and reaches “heaven”, often referred to as enlightenment.

What of the evil person? Does it make sense to imprison his soul in hell? How will that redeem his soul? If he is truly evil, and cannot be redeemed, would it not make more sense to destroy his soul completely?

We might not have much choice regarding many of the things that occur in our lives, but we do have a choice as to how we relate to them.

Two Trees(?)

“Attracts the negative”—such human words—means that the negative is drawn to the positive, and so causing the circular motion of the two pillars of the tree—though it is actually a spiral movement. What actually happens is that the expansion will result in restrictions, and the constraints will produce expansion. It is like the love that ends in acrimonious divorce, and the hate that blossoms into love.

Kabbalah

If the ultimate goal of Kabbalah is to bring people back to Judaism, the Torah & Mitzvot, then it is not the Kabbalah that our sages propagated. For that Kabbalah comes after being steeped in Torah & from obeying the Mitzvot, i.e. being righteous, not before. Kabbalah is meant to lead the student into the underlying mysteries of the Torah (and universe), to gain a deeper understanding of God and His Purpose, how He looks and works, how spiritual energy speaks to us, how to interpret it and comprehend its dynamics in our lives. However, this was taught upon a firm foundation of Judaic laws and customs. First a deep understanding of the religion was required before one could enter Kabbalah.

Metatron

Each string (ala string theory) conjoins with others to form a “metatron”, the primal/root particle, from which all others are formed. It carries all the information for Creation. One could say it contains the DNA/blueprint of Creation.

This idea exists in our tradition too. The letters of the Hebrew Alphabet, with which G-d created the Cosmos, could be thought of as similar to the strings of string-theory. Small, vibrating strings that combine to form the sentences of the physics of our universe.

It is the principle of greater density, which is a product of “simultaneity”. The relationship between these strings will determine the form that emanates. In this state, there is no time, and no space. It grows into 3d space.

Quanta

• Quanta are not continuous but discreet.

Is this the nature of reality, or is it just because the receivers of this reality can only perceive reality in discreet packets? This is a limitation that manifests in our very makeup. It is also possible that this is an aspect of our limited/finite reality.

• The “reality” of quanta can only be described with waves (and probability waves at that!).
• In order to have waves, one has to have a medium upon which these waves move. This medium is termed a field.

Perhaps there is a medium (water, æther and/or G-d consciousness) which is affected by this energy — which is referred to as “the Will of G-d”. As the wave on the ocean is produced by the winds (ruach) that move across the waters, perhaps it is these perturbations that these quantum hypothesis are trying to describe.

If we could only realise Spirit as Divine Energy, energy that we cannot measure except with a divine instrument — which only the Divine can fashion. And as we are an instrument that has been fashioned by the Divine, this enables us to perceive this Divine Energy.

Opposites

When the Rav speaks of mercy and judgement, he is not referring to חסד and גבורה, which are actually (loving)kindness and force/severity, but of the opposites within which the Infinite expresses Itself.
Elohim → infinities: Represents the set of infinities that are a part of the Infinite of infinities. Just like we have an infinite set of natural numbers within the set of real numbers which are contained in the complex set of numbers…
Adonai → $\infty$: represents the Infinity of infinities, the full collection as One.

Coherency

Coherency exhibits form (to us) in a background of (perceived) chaos.

In the dark emptiness of the primordial state, order is the only thing that is recognisable by a coherent entity. It is what we term information. We “react” to this information in terms of our own local coherency, and the need to maintain said coherency.

Coherency is when something is well-defined, identifiable, systematic, exhibits order, is time bound – it has a (historical) narrative, differentiable, measurable. Outer coherency is necessary in order to survive in relation to the outer environment (which has its own coherency).

Inner coherency is the recognition of one’s own being — as a recognisable collage, as separate and identifiable from the unknown darkness of our entanglements.

Enlightenment

Perhaps another way of describing “enlightenment” is the ability to have greater understanding and insight into the working of the complex system we exist in.

The shame of this present generation is their lack of acknowledgement of the years of exploration into this complexity by our ancestors who were genuinely trying to explore its wonder.

Their arrogance is in thinking that they are the first generation to wrestle with this existential problem - or have the best “solution” to the problem. A problem that is inherent in the intrinsic dynamics of the system itself.

Fear and love

What is fear but the memory of pain, and the hope to avoid it in the future?
What is love but the memory of pleasure, and the hope to encounter it in the future?

The first is based on the past, the second is hope for the future. Pain is a very real and immediate experience. And “once bitten, twice shy”, causes us to build walls to prevent pain, but also might block pleasure as well.

Love is something that we are unaware of till much later in life. One could say that only by losing a love, can one know its value. It is something one is drawn to “seek”, as a foundation to build one’s future on.

Chesed - Loving-kindness

To force someone to love someone/thing goes against the very nature of love. Which leads to the murky dynamic, “For the love of…” or “in the name of love”, which, under said banners, justifies some horrific acts.

A more complete or accurate term is loving-kindness. Wrapped in that statement is, “Love without kindness is not loving at all.” In fact, one could propose that love without mercy could easily be hate.

Good and bad

Oppose the bad, love the good.

It is not the good or the bad that is soul destroying — but the good in the bad. If it was all bad, then it is clear what it is. If it is all good, then it is a blessing. However, when there is some good in the bad, some pleasure in the pain, an attraction to something that was good, that is the guilt.

And if there is bad in the good, it it like a wheel that always turns.

Stars

What if each star was surrounded by some energy that “warps” light in such a way as to make them seem a certain distance, or look a certain way, or seem to have specific behaviours as observed by us. Perhaps they only seem to be a long way away.

It is somewhat of an extension of the “observer affects what is seen”. When we look at them, that is the information that the “light” carries. How do we know, for certain, whether this light took 20 million or 200 million years to reach us?

Perhaps we are a ball hanging in space — which could be an infinite nothingness with little star spaces, each with its own characteristics and each affecting the light they emit. Like a giant performance for all the living beings.

Poles

#math/polarity

Everything can be described in terms of their polarity.

The extent of any space or event will be measured/described in terms of its boundaries, that is its furthest extremes, which stand one opposite the other.

Physically, these poles, these extremes, define the “borders” of whatever is being explored. They enable investigation into the limits and extent of what is under observation.

So this has to be the beginning. Everything that exists/created must have come into existence else it would not then be able to fade from existence and everything we know in the universe, and in fact the universe itself, will fade and die.

I - the imaginary number

“$i$” is the crack in the fortress of mathematics and science that allowed the light in and for the lights to shine. Just as I am the crack in the world, and thus a conduit, a “conscious” portal for this upper light.

It is like having a spider’s web woven across the opening that influences the light. And I am the spider, feeding from both the life inside, formed in darkness and density, and the light from outside, that roams free in the infinite creative space of the imagination.

I form my web in the density of matter, guided by vibrations, which I experience as sensations, interpreted through a cosmology that acknowledges the other, not-$i$, which is infinite.

ToL

Union

The time has come for us to unify in our struggle against oppression, driving the need to co-operate and share, rather than to seek separation according to perceived differences, to acknowledge that for every one of us, the experience of life contains the same elements, and much of the same potentials—both high and low, rich and poor, religious or atheist. The reason that it behooves us because we know from our lived experience that the whole is greater than its parts. Think of your body. Your kidney is not really useful if it is not in a body. Only, together with the rest of your organs, which despite their differences, are all essential for the proper functioning of your body. That is the truth of almost every (natural) element in our environment today, from the earth to the stars.
